Belleview runner answers Bell

Clinton Bell [son of Dave and Denise Wall] was tired of seeing the back of James Slack.

The Belleview senior had finished behind Slack at the county and district cross country meets earlier this season.

Enough was enough.

Come regional meet time, Bell took over. The 2008 Star-Banner Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year edged Slack by one second at the 3A-2 regional meet, finishing 14th.
